The Rock Climbers Hand Book is fully illustrated to demonstrate techniques;
When I observed rock climbing, I saw the need for a simple self-care program that could help reduce injuries to the arm, elbow and hand as well as prepare the climber. With any physical activity, if you prepare your body, just like you prepare before sitting down at your computer, it can help to reduce the risk of injury to these areas of the body most stressed. The self care program of 12-steps involving self assessment, alignment and neurolymphatic massage are simple and easy to do and take less than 5-10 minutes to perform. This is a prevention and maintenance program that can be done any time and anywhere. Also added to the book are a list of homeopathic remedies that can be used to help with recovery.
What Climbers have to say...
"I feel a remarkable difference, especially while belaying. My abiltiy to handle the rope, belay device and caribiners was improved. I felt a greater sense of strength in my grip."
Gary & Alice Schmidt - Two rock climbers I met in Yosemite National Park
"I used Kates program 3 or 4 times during my day of climbing. I noticed an increase in my contact strength and how relaxed my forearms felt to allow for a better grip. I woudl recommend this program as a preparation to climb."
Michael Lindsey - A Climber for 34 years
"Since 1996, I have used Kates 12-Step Method. I have not only taught my clients how to avoid repetitive strain injury but my rock climbing has improved due to the preparation I do before every climb."
Marin Kussler - Massage Therapist and Rock Climber
