Lists of Organizations/Practitioners for Carpal Tunnel/RSI Disorders/Health
How To Locate A Practitioner ~ Click on the link to see the list of practitioners.
Since 1992, I have compiled lists of organizations/practitioners to help those who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive strain injuries of the upper body. Insurance companies may not always cover them, but the body needs touch, nurturing, renewed energy, and postural alignment to heal. Drugs and surgery are only bandaids. I hope those seeking initial help will go when the first signs of symptoms arise. Prevention and regular maintenance are the ONLY methods to stop musculoskeletal RSI and prevent a continuing spiral of other health disorders that over time will occur from repetitive strain and overwork/overuse syndromes.
Symptoms:
• Loss of sense of touch
• Tingling and numbness in your hand and fingers
• Pain in your shoulder at night, pain in the elbow and forearm, thumb from too much texting, swelling in your wrist area
• Loss of grip strength in your hand
• Dropping objects more often than usual
• Unable to unscrew a jar lid
• Finding it difficult to do tasks such as brushing your hair or buttoning your blouse
• A cyst called a ganglion cyst ~ appearing at the wrist area.
• Are you using Voice Recognition on your phone or laptop more often
These are only a few symptoms, but musculoskeletal pain from overwork and overuse on a device leads to repetitive strain and eventual dysfunction where doing your job becomes more difficult. Even outside activities and hobbies will be set aside due to upper body pain. Take a moment to look at these recommendations and maybe it is time you take the time to get some healing touch.
There is NO CURE for RSI, ONLY REGULAR BODY MAINTENANCE!
